Jeep knocks down a pedestrian in Bajhang
Chainpur, Sept 1 : A pedestrian died when a jeep hit him in Bajhang on Wednesday. The deceased has been identified as Gagan Okheda, 60, of Bitthadchir rural municipality-9.
A jeep (Sudurpschim Province 0100
Cha 2690) bound to Bagthala from Kedarseu rural municipality-1, Daura Bazaar
knocked on the pedestrian while he was walking along the bazaar area, DSP at
District Police Office Jageswor Bhandari shared.
Okada died on the spot. Jeep
driver Deependra Dhami, a resident of Bungal municipality-6, had been at large
after the incident, police said.
