Meeting of ruling coalition on seat sharing ends inconclusively

Kathmandu, Aug. 31: The five-party ruling coalition has again failed to agree on the sharing of seats for the upcoming House of Representatives and Provincial Assembly election to be held on November 20.

The meeting of the senior leaders of the coalition held at the Prime Minister's Residence, Baluwatar held intensive discussion on the matter but ended inconclusively. 

Although there was serious discussion about the distribution of seats in the meeting of the top leaders of the alliance no conclusion could be reached today, said Secretary of the Rashtriya Janamorcha party, Him Lal Puri. He also shared that the meeting will be resume again at 11 am tomorrow.

Regular discussions are being held in meetings with top leaders to reach an agreement on the matter. (RSS)

Earlier, CPN (Maoist Center) Chair Prachanda had said that the ruling parties would finalise seat sharing by today.
