By TRN Online, Kathmandu, Aug. 29: CPN (Maoist Center)
Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda' has said that the ruling coalition will
finalise the seat sharing by Wednesday.
Addressing a training programme on politico-ideology
thoughts organised by the party's Valley Special Province Committee, the Maoist
Chair shared that by September 5, the ruling parties will also fix which party
will have which constituencies, both for the House of Representatives (HoR)
and Provincial Assembly (PA) election.
The election of the members of the HoR and the PA is
slated for November 20, and the ruling five parties have decided to form an
electoral alliance and share seats.
The Maoist Center Chairman said that his party will fix
the candidates by September 10, and asked the party committees to recommend names
of candidates by September 5.
"We are close to finalise seat sharing among the
ruling parties. The present coalition will continue even after the election. With
regard to seat sharing, our claim is that our party should be allocated 60
seats for the HoR and 120 for the PA," he said.
