Well facilitated residental mediation center being built in Khaptad

By Dil Bahadur Singh, Doti, Aug 11: A spiritual mediation center is being built in Khaptad, a highly acclaimed touristic destination in the Sudur Paschim Province.

Bhim Bahadur Khadka, Director of the Khaptad Regional Tourism Development and Management Committee, said that discussions have started with different agencies and stakeholders to prepare for the construction of a mediation center with residence services in the Khaptad area.

Director Khadka, said, "In the budget speech of the government of Sudur Paschim province for the fiscal year 2079/80, the issue of establishing a spiritual mediation center in the Khaptad area has been mentioned. The needed steps have been taken to establish a spiritual center. "

It is said that things are moving forward such as seeking approval from the National Park and Wildlife Reserve for the establishment of a spiritual mediation center. Khaptad is considered to be an important destination for natural beauty and religious significance.

Ram Bahadur Dhami, a local, said that if the mediation center can be made of global standard, many people doing meditation and yoga can be attracted to Nepal.
