Landslide obstructs Prithvi highway

Muglin, Aug 2  : Landslide triggered by incessant rainfall has obstructed the Prithvi highway this morning.    

The two-way traffic along the Prithvi highway has been obstructed from 8:30 am due to the landslide that occurred at Kuringhat of Ichchhya Kamana-3 in the Chitwan district.    

A spokesperson at the Chitwan District Police Office, Deputy Superintendent of Police Narhari Adhikari said a police team deployed from Area Police Office, Muglin, with the coordination of the Department of Roads has been making efforts to remove the landslide debris deposited on the highway and resume the traffic.  (RSS)
