Trust on five-party alliance did not give expected result: Chair Nepal

Doti, July 30: Chairperson of the CPN (Unified Socialist) Madhav Kumar Nepal has said the trust in the five-party alliance did not give the expected result in local-level elections.     

Chair Nepal said so while talking to media persons at Silgadhi today. Chair Nepal, has arrived at Silgadhi to address a cadres gathering organised by CPN (Unified Socialist) District Committee, Doti.     

He opined, "The party did not get the expected result in the local-level election while trusting the five-party alliance. The party will get victory in more seats than expected in the federal and provincial assembly elections."     

Also, the former Prime Minister, Nepal expressed the belief that the five-party alliance would continue even after federal and provincial assembly elections.     

He shared that an agreement has been reached among top leaders of the five-party to continue the alliance even after elections as it is necessary for the present context.     

Similarly, former Minister for Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation, Prem Bahadur Ale, said Doti would make great strides in development as an adequate budget has been allocated for development projects in the district.  (RSS)
