Five taken ill after consuming wild mushroom

Baitadi, July 27  :  Five persons had taken ill after consuming wild mushrooms in Baitadi on Tuesday morning.   

 
Five members of the same family in Melauni municipality-5, Khaligad became ill after they ate wild fungi.    

Those taken ill are Sunita Joshi, 14, Sabita Joshi, 12, Kiran Joshi, 10, eight-year-old Soniya Joshi, and four-year-old Divya Joshi. They are undergoing treatment at Kesharpur Primary Health Centre in Melauni, informed Acting Chief Public Health Inspector Mukesh Kanta Dayal.    

Ailing members were rushed to the health facility when they turned ill after consuming mushrooms on Tuesday morning.    

All family members had eaten the mushroom that was picked from the forest. As informed, they had started vomiting after consuming the mushroom. (RSS)
