Pushpa Bhusal elected deputy speaker of House of Representatives

By TRN Online, Kathmandu, July 15: NC leader Pushpa Bhusal (Gautam) has been elected the deputy speaker of the House of Representatives (HoR).

From the meeting of the deputy speaker on Friday Bhusal has been elected as the deputy speaker of HoR.  

She received 148 votes out. Her competitor UML's candidate Bidhya Bhattarai received 93 votes and one vote was registered as neutral. 

A total of 242 members were presented. Bhusal was a candidate from the side of the ruling coalition.
