Isha Tumbapo now Miss Cultural Creative Phidim

By our correspondent Phidim, July 15: Isha Tumbapo has won the title of Miss Cultural Creative Phidim, which was organised for the first time in Phidim of Panchthar.

Similarly, Geeta Tumbapo and Priyanka Shrestha became the first and second runners-up respectively. Likewise,  Kenjal Sambahamphe and Usha Chauhan received the Organiser’s Choice and Viewers’ Choice Awards.

 The competition organised by Ankit Neupane and Saroj Neupane of Jhapa was presented by Yoman Creation of Pachthar.  Altogether 12 girls aged between eight and 19 years had participated in the competition.

Sanjay Acharya of Media Correction said that the competition was organised with the objective of helping women become self-reliant by developing self-confidence. 

Many contestants said the competition helped them develop speaking skills and confidence in public presentation. Participants in the programme wore Nepali Dhaka costumes and gave cultural  presentations.
