By TRN Online, Kathmandu, July 14: The discussion on
passing the 'Nepal Citizenship First Amendment Bill 2079' has been postponed
to Friday by the House of Representatives (HoR) meeting.
According to the Speaker’s Secretariat, the meeting
was adjourned for Friday as the member of parliament (MP) were not finished expressing their views on the proposal until late night of Thursday’s meeting.
Speaker, Agni Prasad Sapkota informed the house that
the discussion on the bill would continue in the next meeting to be held at 1
PM on Friday.
Minister for Home Affairs Bal Krishna Khand
presented the Nepal Citizenship (First Amendment) Bill-2079 BS and the house is
preparing to pass the bill after necessary discussions.
