Bhakti Thapa Memorial Academy wins 'National Hero Bhimsen Thapa Memorial Award'
Kathmandu, July 10 : Bhakti Thapa Memorial Academy has bagged this year's 'National Hero Bhimsen Thapa Memorial Award'. A meeting of the Academy on Saturday took a decision in this regard.
The award that carries a purse of
Rs 100,000 will be handed amid a function to be organized on July 25 on the
occasion of 248th Birth Anniversary of Bhimsen Thapa, said the Academy Chair
Prof Dr. Parthibeshwor Prasad Timilsina. The award is distributed to the
individuals or organizations that have contributed to history. Earlier, Prof Dr. Tulasi Prasad Baidya won the award. (RSS)
