Four new ministers sworn in by President

By TRN Online, Kathmandu, June 27: President Bidya Devi Bhandari administered the oath of office and secrecy to the four newly appointed ministers at the Office of the President today.

The four ministers sworn in are Jeevan Ram Shrestha as the minister for Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation, Metmani Chaudhary as the Minister for Urban Development, Bhawani Prasad Khapung as the Minister for Health and Population and Sher Bahadur Kunwar as the Minister for Labour, Employment and Social Security.

Likewise, Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba administered the oath of office and secrecy to Hira Chandra KC, the State Minister for Health and Population.


Vice president Nanda Bahadur Pun, Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba, and Speaker Agni Sapkota among others were presented in the sworn-in ceremony. 

All ministers will assume office today.
