Number of COVID-19 cases on the rise

Kathmandu, June 23: New cases of COVID-19 have been increasing as of late. The infection of the virus has been confirmed in 49 people today, according to the Ministry of Health and Population.

The number of new infections was 31 on Wednesday and 19 on Tuesday. 

Today's infection was confirmed in 2,494 samples tested in the past 24 hours. During the period, 12 people have recovered. The number of active cases stands at 163 people. 

Also today, 85,657 people have been vaccinated against the coronavirus. (RSS)
