Kaski, June 23 (RSS) : A 4.9 magnitude earthquake has hit Pokhara and surrounding areas in the wee hours today, according to the National Seismological Center.
Earthquake Measurement Center. The
quake took place at 3.56 am with its epicenter at Dhampus of Machhapurchhare
Rural Municipality-7 in the Kaski district.
Shockwaves from the quake were felt
in Baglung, Parbat, Myagdi, and Tanahun districts said the local people.
However, no details of losses caused by the quake have been reported, said ward
chair of Dhampus, Baikuntha Bhandari.
