Three patients with cholera symptoms admitted at Teku hospital

By TRN Online, Kathmandu, June 19: Three persons suspected of suffering from cholera have been admitted at the Sukraraj Tropical and Infectious Disease Hospital at Teku in Kathmandu on Sunday.

Dr. Manisha Rawal, director of the hospital, said that three suspected cholera patients aged 65, 55 and 28 from different parts of the Kathmandu Valley were undergoing treatment at the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) in the hospital.

Whether the persons have contracted cholera or not will be confirmed after the report of their stool culture, said the hospital director.

Earlier, two patients, sisters from Bagbazar, were found suffering from cholera. They were admitted at the hospital on Thursday.
