Province 1 presents annual budget of Rs 39.73 billion

By Our Biratnagar Correspondent, June 15: The Province 1 government has unveiled an annual budget of Rs. 39.73 billion for the fiscal year of 2022/23.

Minister of Economic Affairs and Planning of Province 1, Indra Bahadur Angbole,  presented the budget of Rs 39.73 billion for the fiscal year 2022/23 in the Provincial Assembly today. The government projected to receive Rs 4.98 billion from internal revenue sources, Rs 11.88 billion from revenue, and Rs 9.82 billion from equalization grants from the federal government, Rs 8.69 billion from conditional grants and Rs 92 crore from complementary grants and Rs 47 crore 50 lakh from the special grant.

The budget is projected to receive Rs 35.96 billion from revenue, Rs 3.52 billion from cash reserve and Rs 25 crore from the foreign grants.
