Everest summiteer Neupane felicitated

By TRN Online, Kathmandu, June 6: Bihadi Gaun Palika Sewa Samaj Kathmandu has felicitated Mt. Everest/Sagarmatha summiteer Devi Prasad Neupane.

Neupane, a resident of Wahaki Thati in Bihadi Rural Municipality-4 in Parbat district, scaled the highest peak of the world on May 12.

Tika Ram Neupane, Chairperson of the Samaj shared that it was a pride for the Society to honour climber Neupane as he came from the Bihadi area.

On the occasion, co-Chair of the Samaj Jit Bahadur Lamichhane appreciated climber Neupane as being a glory for the country.

In his part, Neupane, an army official, said that he was very elated for being honoured by the reputed figures from his home village.

He said that he had a dream to scale the highest peak for the last ten years, which he finally achieved.
