Tara Air plane goes missing, feared crashed over Lete in Mustang

By TRN Online, Kathmandu, May 29: A twin otter plane of the Tara Air that flew to Jomsom from Pokhara has gone missing.

The airplane is feared to have crashed over Lete in Mustang district.

There were 19 people including six foreigners on board.

Sudarshan Bartaula, spokesperson of the Tara Air, confirmed that the plane has gone missing and a search operation has been initiated.

Our correspondent in Gandaki province said that he received information that the plane that had taken off at 9:45 from Pokhara airport, went missing and crashed at Lete of Mustang.

According to Pokhara airport, the plane was in contact till it reached the Ghorepani area and then went out of contact.
