"Process to form Gen Z council, implementation of past pacts in finale stage'

By TRN Online, Kathmandu, May 15: The process to form Gen Z council is at the final stage and the implementation of the agreements the former government made with the Gen Z groups is also going on.

Asim Shah, coordinator of the task force formed to formulate discussion note for the amendment to the constitution, made the issue clear with regard to expression of dissatisfaction and boycott by some Gen Z representatives over implementation status of the past pacts.

Coordinator Shah made it clear that the Gen Z representatives were invited for discussion as the taskforce's main focus was to complete discussion paper by incorporating suggestions of all stakeholders, according to the information provided by the PM's secretariat.

The taskforce has called for a meeting with the Gen Z representatives today.

Shah urged the Gen Z representatives to not mix the constitution amendment issue with any other ones as the taskforce was focused on the amendment issues.

Taskforce has arranged time and medium so that Gen Z representatives can forward suggestion both in writing and in verbal forms.
