UML's Raya wins in Barju Rural Municipality
Biratnagar, May 20 (RSS): CPN (UML)'s Jibachh Kumar Raya has won the election as the Chairman of Barju Rural Municipality in Sunsari district. He made to the post with 7,861 votes against his rival Raghu Nandan Chaudhary's 7,474 votes.
Nitu Kumari Chaudhary of
the UML was elected to the vice-chair by getting 8,474 votes by defeating NC's
Sangita Kumari Raya. Out of six wards in the rural municipality, UML's
candidates won in five and NC emerged victorious in one ward.
