15 injured in scuffle during voting in Laxmipur, Rautahat

By Yadav Raj Puri, Rautahat, May 13: As many as 15 people have been injured in the scuffle between two sides at Laxmipur in Gadhimai Municipality-3 in Rautahat.

The police had to use force to take the situation under control when two sides engaged in disputes at the Kharidi Primary School polling station during the voting.

Most of the injured in the clash have head injuries.

Similarly, the police had to resort to five rounds of blank fire as a dispute arose during the voting at Fatuwa Bijayapur Municipality.

According to the Rautahat district police office, the police took to the blank fire to take the situation under control when voters started clashes at Sitalpur Bairganiya polling center.
