I am impressed by Renu's good work as mayor: NC senior leader Paudel

By Shaligram Nepal, Chitwan, May 5: Senior leader of the Nepali Congress (NC) Ram Chandra Paudel has lauded the development works carried out in Bharatpur Metropolitan City during Renu Dahal's leadership as the mayor.

"I am impressed by the works performed by Renu Dahal as the mayor of the Bharatpur Metropolitan City. We have to support those who do good work. We cannot defeat such a leader who does a good job," senior leader Paudel said addressing an election rally organised by the five-party ruling alliance here.

He said the ruling coalition will go at least until the election for the House of Representatives.

The NC senior leader observed that the rebel candidate from the NC in Bharatpur including Jagannath Paudel had taken steps in a fit of anger.

He urged the NC rebel candidates to rethink their decisions.

"NC has no competition with the Maoist Center. NC's main competition is with the UML, the Oli attitude. We have formed the alliance for the same, said the senior NC leader.
