Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli addressed the High-Level Thematic Roundtable 4: Building sustainable infrastructure, strengthening connectivity, and promoting unfettered transit systems for landlocked developing countries in Awaza, Turkmenistan, on Thursday. Addressing the event, PM Oli said that Nepal is committed to deepening its partnership with its neighbouring countries and beyond in the spirit of economic cooperation, regional integration and shared progress.

Gandaki govt drafts bill for marijuana farming, license mandatory
The Gandaki Provincial Government has drafted a bill to legalise marijuana farming. As per the draft, for marijuana farming, only a Nepali citizen can cultivate marijuana; in case of partnership, a Nepali citizen must be a partner, and a 51 per cent investment by the Nepali side is mandatory in the case of a partnership between a foreigner and a Nepali.
