An earthquake struck Gorkha district at 6:15 am today. The National Earthquake Monitoring and Research Centre stated that the epicentre of the earthquake measuring 4 on the Richter scale was at Hansapur of Ajirkot Rural Municipality-3 in the district of Gorkha.
Twenty-one people were injured in a road accident happened this morning at Tariphant in Bhimsenthapa Rural Municipality-3 of Gorkha district. The passengers carrying bus (Ba 01-006 Kha 4131) was travelling to Arughat Soti in Gorkha district from Kathmandu. All together 22 people were travelling by the bus.

Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has addressed the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) Plus Summit today. In his address, he spoke on national interests, bilateral, and international issues. The summit, which began on Sunday at the Tianjin Meijian Conference Centre in Tianjin, China, is adhered by heads of state and government, including Prime Minister Oli.
