A notice of the mountain under the Damodar mountain range open for climbing has been published in the Nepal Gazette. The mountain falls within the Annapurna Conservation Area and is located in Manang district of Gandaki Province.

UML Statute Convention continues with panel discussions
Day two of the CPN (UML) Second Statute Convention, underway at the Godavari Sunrise Convention Centre, continued with panel discussions on various reports presented earlier during the convention. According to Rajendra Gautam, Chief of the UML Publicity Department, ten panels have been formed based on provincial, valley, and central party structures to hold the discussions. The Koshi Province panel has already concluded its discussions and begun drafting its report.

Party not liable for personal mistakes: NC General Secretary Thapa
Nepali Congress (NC) General Secretary Gagan Kumar Thapa has stated that political parties, as institutions, are not inherently at fault; rather, it is the individuals associated with them who may commit wrongdoings. Various major traffic routes disrupted due to floods and landslides
A total of 12 major traffic routes across the country have come to a complete standstill due to floods and landslides triggered by the ongoing monsoon. According to the Department of Roads, while 160 roadways remain operational with one-way traffic, several key highways and corridors remain entirely disrupted.

UML to bear medical expenses of girl injured in accident
The second day of the CPN (UML)'s statute general convention today began an hour late following a road accident involving a delegate to the convention. A vehicle carrying the delegate hit a girl at Harisiddhi in Lalitpur, leading to road obstruction.
Existing coalition government continues: Deuba
Biratnagar, Sept 6: Nepali Congress (NC) President Sher Bahadur Deuba has said the existing coalition government will continue ahead. Talking to media at Biratnagar Airport this morning, the former Prime Minister and the parliamentary leader of the major coalition government partner echoed the need for a broader wider consensus with a two-thirds majority to amend the Constitution. He also took time to say that the NC's upcoming general convention will be held on an appropriate time, adding that the NC has no immediate plans for reshuffling the ministers representing the party in the NC-UML government. According to the former Prime Minister, the Constitution has not prohibited former President or the former Vice-President from re-entering politics. (RSS)

NC CWC meeting tomorrow
