Chairperson of the CPN (UML) and Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has shared that people's trust towards the CPN (UML) has grown as the party has stood in favour of good governance, development, stability, national integrity and sovereignty. Addressing the inaugural session of the second statute convention of the party began at Sunrise Conference Centre, Godavari, of Lalitpur, from on Friday, Chair Oli argued that the CPN (UML) has always stood in favour of the country and the people without making any compromise.

UML Chairman and Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has asserted that an objection has been registered with China regarding the agreement between China and India to make the Nepali territory of Lipulek a trade route. He said that he clearly expressed Nepal's disapproval on this matter during his meeting with Chinese President Xi Jinping in the course of his visit to China from August 30 to September 3.

Chief of the Sindhuli District Police Office, Superintendent of Police Lal Dhowj Subedi said that the Kathmandu-bound truck from Biratnagar knocked Bhuwan Bhujel to death.
