By Anil Parajuli, Hetauda, Nov.15: Mustard has bloomed in the fields of Makawanpur. Mustard is now blooming everywhere in the fields of Hetauda, Hatiya, Harnamadi, Padampokhari, Bhimphedi's Suping, Bakaiya, Bagmati, Manahari, Makawanpurgadhi and other areas of the district.
The widened blue sky, yellow blossoms all over the fields, and bees covering the plants make the environment exultant. The village is now enchanted by the scent of mustard flowers along with the cool breeze.
The view looks heartwarming after the yellow blossom. With this, bees are flickering around the bloom, picking nectar from one plant to another,
However, because of the excessive use of pesticides, the number of bees hovering over has decreased.
According to farmer Narayan Ghimire, production of mustard has decreased in comparison to last year.
The arable land has decreased with modernization and the plotting of land.
