By Sahara Limbu, Phungling, Nov.15: A girl died after falling in Hangdewa, Phungling, Taplejung.
The deceased has been identified as Arpana Nugo Limbu, the 7-year-old daughter of Bir Bahadur Nugo Limbu (Subidar Saila) of Phurumbu, Phungling Municipality-10.
Police Inspector Rohit Sharma Badhai, Acting Chief of the District Police Office, Taplejung, said that the girl, living in a rent house at Hangdewa, Phungling Municipality-9, died on the spot after falling on Friday evening.
According to him, the girl died after falling from the under-construction Manghim Temple of the Maden dynasty.
Immediately after the incident, a police team led by Police Inspector Jatta Shankar Yadav was mobilized from the District Police Office, Taplejung.
Police said the team completed the legal formalities and brought the body to the district headquarters.
Police said that preparations are underway to hand over the body to the relatives after conducting a postmortem at the morgue of the District Hospital, Taplejung.
