The fire gutted goods in six out of the 13 shutters on the ground floor at the three-storied house of one Ram Sewak Mahato. The fire started from the electric shop owned by Sahajis Nadaf of Janakpurdham Sub-Metropolitan City-13 of Dhanusha district. Nadaf had rented the entire house and had been running the electric store.

Minister Bhandari calls on foreign investors to prioritise Nepal
Minister for Industry, Commerce, and Supplies, Damodar Bhandari, has said that foreign investors can now apply for investment in Nepal up to Rs 500 million from abroad. Speaking at the plenary session of the two-day 29th Partnership Summit, which began today in New Delhi, India, Bhandari highlighted that Nepal has implemented an automated pre-approval system for foreign investment proposals through an online platform.
