Authors from Tanahun have expressed concern over the misrepresentation of the Teej festival. Gaukumari Neupane, Chairman of the Gandaki Bangmaya Pratisthan Tanahun said that using inappropriate words and making inappropriate videos that distort Teej songs should be avoided, as losing the originality of the Teej festival could affect the country's identity.

Indira Panthi, a resident of Sandhikharka Municipality-2, Kurki, has been chasing monkeys from her corn field from dawn to dusk to protect the corncobs almost ready to harvest.
