Dr Pokharel appointed as Member Secretary of NTNC

Kathmandu, May 13: Dr Chiranjivi Prasad Pokharel has been appointed as the Member Secretary of the National Trust for Nature Conservation.     

Minister for Forests and Environment and NTNC Chairperson, Geeta Chaudhary, has appointed him as the NTNC Member Secretary to be effective from May 12 until further arrangements are made.     

Dr Pokharel, currently serving as the Senior Director of the NTNC, is a distinguished wildlife biologist, conservation planner and renowned tiger expert. He has more than 27 years of professional experience in the field of conservation.     

The newly appointed Member Secretary expressed commitment to the NTNC objectives, vision and values, and firmly resolved to advance the institution towards higher achievements in the field of nature conservation.(RSS)
