Govt to ensure farmers' access to land, link agriculture with green economy

By TRN Online, Kathmandu, May 11: The government is for ensuring access to land for all the farmers through land bank

President Ramchandra Paudel read about the government plans while presenting the government policy and programme for the fiscal year of 2026/027 at the meeting of the federal parliament today.

"The government will ensure the farmers access to land by establishing land bank," said the President while reading out the government policy and programme.

He said that the government will conduct measure of land with modern technology and keep the records and that the problems of the landless squatters will also be solved.

The government will also take steps to link agriculture with green economy.
