Possibility of light rain with thunder today

 Kathmandu, May 10: There is a possibility of light rain with thunder and lightning at a few places in the mountain and hilly regions of Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki Provinces, and at one or two places in the remaining provinces today.

According to the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology, Weather Forecasting Division, the weather today in mountain and hilly regions of the country will be generally cloudy, while the Tarai region will be partly cloudy.

Later tonight, the weather will be generally cloudy in Koshi, Bagmati and Gandaki provinces and partly cloudy in the rest of the provinces. There is a possibility of moderate rain with thunder and lightning, and snowfall in a few places in the mountainous and hilly areas of Koshi province and in one or two places in the hilly and mountainous areas of the rest of the provinces including the Tarai areas of Koshi province.
