PSB submits its first annual report to Minister Dr Timilsina

Kathmandu, May 4: Minister for Communications and Information Technology Dr Bikram Timilsina has said that restructuring of public enterprises was needed at the basic level for their institutional reforms to fully resolve their issues from the bottom level.     

Minister Dr Timilsina said so on Monday while receiving the first annual report of the Public Service Broadcasting (PSB). PSB's Chairman Dr Mahendra Bista submitted the first annual report to the minister.     

Receiving the report, Minister Dr Timilsina thanked the PSB for its efforts taken to strengthen the organization and pledged to implement the recommendations stated in the report.     

As per the PSB Act-2081 BS, the PSB shall submit its annual report to the government every year.     

Likewise, the government should table the report in the thematic committee of the Federal Parliament.(RSS)
