Kathmandu, April 24: National Assembly Chairperson Narayan Prasad Dahal has pointed out the need of honest, hopeful and trustworthy vision towards the country.
He expressed the view that a shared national consciousness on the issue of country's prosperity is needed despite having different ideology and commitment.
At a programme organised by Non-Resident Nepali Association to launch a book penned by Khem Sharma at Baluwatar today, Chair Dahal argued that Nepal's large human resources abroad is not only a labour force, but also a human resources with knowledge, experience and national potential. He opined that the role of NRNA is very significant in this context.
"The NRNA has not worked only to connect Nepalis around the world, it has been working as a bridge connecting Nepalese experience, capacity and thought with Nepal," he underscored.
The NA Chairperson expressed the belief that the NRNA would play a strong role to inspire the youth forces brain drained from the country to build Nepal and utilize their skill and capacity in homeland.
Nation building is the responsibility of all along with government, he opined, adding the role of state, society, citizens, intellectuals, youths and Nepali diaspora would be crucial for this purpose.(RSS)
