By TRN Online, Kathmandu, April 24: Minister for Agriculture and Livestock Development and Forest and Environment, Gita Chaudhary has said that there will not be shortage of chemical fertilizer required for paddy plantation this year.
Speaking at a meeting held at National Assembly’s Federalism Enablement and National Concerns Committee today, the minister said, “We have sufficient fertilizer for this year’s paddy plantation, we are trying to manage for the future as well”. She said that the government has adopted a policy for encouraging the use of bio and organic fertilizer in order to improve the healthy soil.
Informing the about the “100-Point Governance Reform Action plan”, minister informed that there is a plan to improve quality of soil by implementing “Soil health card” system.
