Vehicular movement obstructed at Katunje-Mangaltar section

Kavrepalanchowk, April 19: Vehicular movement at Katunje-Mangaltar section along BP highway has been obstructed from this morning. 

According to the District Police Office, the road section has been blocked after rainfall swept away diversions constructed different places along the road section.

Deputy Superintendent of Police at the District Police Office, Rabin Bista, shared that though activities are underway to repair diversions, it would take some time to resume traffic. 

The water level increased at Roshi river following the rainfall had swept away diversions constructed earlier, he added. 

Meanwhile, police have been holding vehicles at Kavrebhanjyang of Dhulikhel and Nepalthok of Sindhuli following the road obstruction. Police have requested not to travel along the section until next notice.  (RSS)
