Nepal's Consulate General in San Francisco observes Aarogya Diwas

Kathmandu, April 14: Consulate General of Nepal in San Francisco observed the Aarogya Diwas (Wellness Day) by organizing various programmes on Monday.     

The United Nations had, at the initiative of Nepal, on March 10, 2026 endorsed a resolution, declaring to observe April 15 each year as the Aarogya Diwas.     

During a formal event held at the Nepali Community Centre at San Francisco Bay Area, the first International Aarogya Day was observed, according to the Consulate General.     

The programme was jointly organised by the Nepali Association of Northern California and Jeevan Vigyan-US (a spiritual center).     

The event was focused on sharing about Yoga and naturopathy practices among experts and participants, with session on meditation and sound therapy, it is said.(RSS)
