Former President Bhandari extends New Year best wishes

Kathmandu, April 14: Former President Bidya Devi Bhandari has expressed her hope that the Nepali New Year 2083 BS will bring renewed energy, hope, and encouragement to all Nepali citizens.

In her message of best wishes on the occasion, the former Head of State said, “May the New Year inspire everyone to move forward toward prosperity in personal, social, and national life by overcoming misunderstandings, despair, and obstacles.”

She also urged political parties to ensure the active participation of the younger generation through the practical and effective implementation of innovative ideas and technology, guided by dedication, unity, and a positive mindset.

Furthermore, the former President added that the recently concluded House of Representatives (HoR) elections have brought significant changes to the country’s political landscape. She echoed the need to take public aspirations, expectations, and grievances seriously, placing citizen-focused efforts and service delivery at the centre. (RSS)
