Gold and silver prices decrease

Kathmandu, April 9: The prices of gold and silver slid in the domestic market today compared to the previous day. 

Gold has fallen by Rs 4,300 per tola to reach Rs 294,700 per tola, while silver has dropped by Rs 150 per tola to be traded at Rs 4,875 per tola, said the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association. 

On Wednesday, the hallmark gold was traded at Rs 299,000 per tola, and silver's price Rs 5,025 per tola.

As stated by international media reports, in the global market today, gold is being traded at USD 4,713 per ounce, while silver is priced at USD 73 per ounce.(RSS)
