Salyan youth dies after being stabbed in Malaysia

By Shankar KC, Salyan, March 25: A youth, on foreign employment in Malaysia, died after being stabbed with a knife by his friend. 

The deceased has been identified as 21-year-old Bed Bahadur Buda of Damar stream, Kapurkot Rural Municipality-2, Salyan district. He was residing in Patetakura of Dang. 

According to the ward chair of Kapurkot Rural Municipality-3, Pradeep Khadka, the attacker has been identified as a 25-year-old Chopi Lal Dangi of Nauli Bhalumare of Gangadev Rural Municipality, Rolpa district.

Dangi, along with others, has been taken under control by the Malaysian Police after the incident.

The accident took place in Penang country, according to Laljeet Khadka, of Kapurkot Rural Municipality-6. He is currently working at Perak, Peninsular Malaysia.

The deceased's uncle, Parshuram Budaa, also confirmed the incident and informed that preparations are underway to bring the body to Nepal after the postmortem and police report. According to him, the incident took place last Sunday at around 9:30 PM Malaysian time.

Initial investigation into the incident has revealed a dispute between friends. The deceased youth's family includes a father, mother, and brother.
