15 arrested from various places with banned narcotics

Kathmandu, March 19: A police team on a regular patrol has arrested 15 people from various places of the country in possession of banned drugs.

According to the Central Police Newsroom, they were arrested from Jhapa, Bara, Mahottari, Chitwan and Kanchanpur on Tuesday and Wednesday.

One person was arrested from Pokhara Bus Park in Bharatpur Metropolitan City-1 with drugs that can only be bought and sold on the recommendation of a doctor, seven people were arrested from Bhadrapur Municipality-6 with brown sugar and two people arrested from near Lalka Bridge in Jitpursimara Sub-metropolitan City-3 of Bara with nine kilos of marijuana.

Likewise, four people were arrested from Bardibas Municipality-3 of Mahottari with brown sugar and one person was arrested from Ghanta in Belauri Municipality-10 of Kanchanpur, police said. (RSS)
