Nepalgunj, March 18: Chief Justice Prakashman Singh Raut has said the justice system is gradually coming on track due to well coordination within the judicial sector.
In a discussion with legal practitioners of Banke here today, he put his views on several affairs ranging from judicial governance to management of burnt files and changing outlook towards judiciary.
He said high emphasis was laid on the management of burnt files and resurrecting justice sector after the Gen Z Uprising.
Chief Justice Raut further shared that 19,000 out of around 20,000 case files destroyed in the Supreme Court have been so far been maintained, noting he is coordinating with the Office of Attorney General from the central level for keeping new copies of case files that were burnt in the courts outside Kathmandu Valley.
He urged the legal practitioners to cooperate in rehabilitation of case files and delivery of justice.
The Chief Justice stressed the need for both court and legal fraternity to timely transform themselves in congruent with the changing context.(RSS)
