Foundation stone laid for construction of Palanse-Tarakeshwor road

Bhaktapur, March 16: Health Minister of Bagmati Province, Kiran Thapa Magar, has laid a foundation stone for the construction of Palanse-Tarakeshwor road in Bhaktapur.

At a programme organised at Suryabinayak municipality-8, Palanse today, Minister Thapa Magar shared that road construction and upgrading activities would intensify thereafter. The Ministry of Physical Infrastructure and Development of Bagmati Province allocated Rs 3 million for this purpose.  

This road would connect Suryabinayak ring road via Suryabinayak municipality 8 and 9. The Health Minister mentioned that the construction of the road began with the arrangement of budget that also includes blacktopping from Palanse to Tarakeshwor via Kakrabari, Ashapuri, Naichal, Ranikot and Ghyampedanda. 

Similarly, Chairperson of Suryabinayak municipality 8, Pushpa Raj Basnet, opined that the road helps in providing market to the local produces in addition to expansion of tourism business. (RSS)
