Two killed in jeep-motorbike collision

Mahendranagar, March 12: Two people died when a jeep and a motorcycle collided on the Mahendranagar–Daiji section of the East-West Highway on Wednesday.

The District Police Office Kanchanpur said that two people riding a motorcycle died when a Bolero Jeep with registration number Se 1 Ja 1405, travelling from Mahendranagar towards Attariya, collided with a motorcycle with registration number Ma 2 Pa 3506 coming from the opposite direction.

Inspector at the District Police Office Kanchanpur, Birendra Thapa, said that two people riding a motorcycle were seriously injured in the accident and they died soon after the accident.

Police have held the jeep driver for investigation. (RSS)
