IED explodes at Madhesh Law Firm

Siraha, March 11: An improvised explosive device (IED) has exploded at 'Madhesh Law Firm' located in front of District Court, Siraha, on Wednesday evening.     

According to Information Officer at the District Police Office, Ramesh Bahadur Pal, a person was injured in the explosion that occurred at 4:15 pm today.     

The law firm is run by Advocate Madhusudan Prasad Yadav, who has leased a room of Bar Office. Saurab Yadav of the law firm sustained injuries in the incident and he has been taken to provincial hospital for treatment.     

Deputy Superintendent of Police Pal mentioned that a team of Nepal Police and Nepali Army is at the incident site and a bomb disposal team of the Nepali Army has arrived at the incident and further investigation into the case is underway.(RSS)
