Constitution moves to right path after elections

Kathmandu, March 11: Minister for Home Affairs Om Prakash Aryal has extended gratefulness to office-bearers of the central security committee, province command posts and district security committees for helping conduct the House of Representatives (HoR) elections in a free, fair and impartial atmosphere.     

Home Secretary Rajkumar Shrestha, chiefs of the four security agencies, key officials of the ministry's departments, provincial command posts, and district security committees participated in today's virtual meeting to review the elections.     

Minister Aryal expressed gratitude to the central security committee, officials of the provincial command posts of all seven provinces coordinated by the chief secretary of the province, and officials of the district security committees of all 77 districts coordinated by the chief district officer, for successfully fulfilling their respective roles in conducting a bloodless historic election.     

Minister Aryal claimed that after the elections, the Constitution has taken the right path and the foundation of political governance has been established, emphasizing that employees at all levels and sectors, from those working at the center to those deployed in the field, played an important role in this historic achievement.(RSS)
