RSP chairperson Lamichhane makes public election expenditure

Chitwan, March 11: Chairperson of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) Rabi Lamichhane has submitted his election expenditure details for the House of Representatives election from Chitwan District constituency- 2.

According to the statement submitted to the Election Commission Nepal, Lamichhane spent Rs. 989,987 during the election campaign.

The report states that Rs. 10,000 was spent on nomination registration, Rs. 68,161 on printing sample ballot materials and Rs. 295,000 on transportation and fuel.

Similarly, Rs. 14,200 was spent on refreshments for voter training, Rs. 46,000 on ward-level publicity and Rs. 112,000 on the purchase of flags and badges for campaign purposes.

The details also show that Rs. 55,000 was spent on banners and stickers, Rs. 196,000 on food and ration, Rs. 13,626 on air travel and Rs. 180,000 on meetings and gatherings.

The expenditure details were submitted to the Election Commission on Tuesday by Bharatpur Metropolitan Committee Chairperson of the party, Sita Gnyawali. (Translated from RSS Nepali)
