Finance Minister returns diplomatic passport

By TRN Online, Kathmandu, March 10: Minister of Finance Rameshore Khanal has returned his diplomatic passport(red passport) that he had been using.

The diplomatic passport, which was issued to him in his capacity as Finance Minister, has been submitted to the Passport Department under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the minister confirmed.

Talking to social media, he said, "I am submitting this diplomatic passport number (DA 0002710) to the Passport Department under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, saying that the passport had been attached to the request for its submission to the Administration Division."

A former finance minister returned the diplomatic passport issued to him during his tenure after the purpose of its use ended.
