Dhakal of RSP elected from Jhapa-4

Bhadrapur (Jhapa), March 8: Shambhu Prasad Dhakal of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) has been elected to the House of Representatives from Jhapa-4. He received 43,631 votes, according to the Office of the Returning Officer.

In the House of Representatives election held on March 5, his closest competitor was Lal Prasad Sanwa Limbu of the CPN (UML), who received 11,916 votes. Likewise, Deukumar Thebe of the Nepali Congress received 9,434 votes, Amrita Devi Rai of the Shram Sanskriti Party received 7,161 votes, and Bhakti Prasad Sitaula of the Rastriya Prajatantra Party received 2,080 votes.

Out of a total of 130,712 voters in this constituency, 82,117 votes were cast. (RSS)
